April is ending. Winter still lingers

I really love Colorado sometimes because it can snow sometimes even into early May.  There have been a few snow flurries recently and some colder temperatures but for the most part spring and summer weather will fully set in. I’ve already done some rock climbing this month and will be doing some more of that tomorrow as the weather will all of a sudden become warm again.

That doesn’t mean that ski season is at an end.  I’ll be doing some spring skiing next weekend and probably go out on the slopes one last time before putting the ski gear away for the season.  I just have to remember that I will need my skis to be tuned up and a little repaired from the hard aggressive skiing I did over these past few months.  It was a lot of fun though.

I’M BACK!

Like the wise owl who recently visited me on my window sill knows,  never leave a place that is truly your home.  I am back in Colorado Springs where I will be doing my doctor thing in the local area and, moreover, hang out with all of my friends.

It feels great to be back and the past few months have been hectic with moving, etc.  I am ready for the spring/summer weather to fully kick in so that we can get back to camping and rock climbing.  I hope to get back to the form I was in before I had my rock climbing accident last May.

I don’t have any special travel plans in the near future (mainly because of all the busy stuff of the past two months) but hopefully I will get a chance to get away to somewhere special sometime this year.
